Communication – that’s what it’s all about!

We want to be heard and understood. A person’s ability to be an effective communicator can appear to be so easy and yet so hard. Why is it that some people can stand up and capture an entire audience with a few words, and another person puts listeners to sleep, or they walk out?

The crux of being an effective communicator is to know who you are – your Authentic Self – and having the confidence to be yourself and speak your message.

Once you know who you are, crafting your message is vital.  A key element is word choices.  They can turn a presentation from engaging to boring.  Does your audience know the words you’re using and the meanings you ascribe to them? For example, a business once announced that their customers’ interests were “piqued by the new offerings.”  Unfortunately, to the listeners it came across as ‘peaked’ and the near term forecast was a downturn.

Working together, I can help you improve your communication, one conversation at a time, by helping you uncover your Authentic Self and Discover Your Authentic Voice.
